Anodes are for the purpose of introducing electrical current and/or replenish the metals ions in the plating bath. The stems of all anodes may be bent to hang on the edge of Pyrex beakers. There are two types of anodes: Soluble: Copper, nickel and silver anodes dissolve into the bath replacing metal ions as they are deposited onto workpiece during plating. Inert: Our stainless-steel and platinum-clad anodes do not dissolve in the plating bath. Prices on anodes may fluctuate due to metal market prices. Call for current pricing.
