The incredible #52 handpiece is not the push-pull (open-close) quick release feature. It is the light weight plastic housing which is not only durable but very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. This handpiece is ideal for stone setters and others who require frequent changes of burs. The 3/32" collet accepts standard shanks. Prelubricated ball bearings need no maintenance. The #52 is 29/32" diameter, 5-1/2" long and weighs 3.1 oz. The #52D features an integrated duplex spring for increased flexibility. It is 29/32" diameter, 10" long and weighs 5.3 oz. The #52 and #52D will work with most Foredom motors. This handpiece has a 90 day manufacturer's warranty.
